Two men have been charged in a Houston shooting that sent one victim to the hospital with serious injuries, authorities say. The duo, identified as Bradric L. Kuykendall and Freddie Lee Anderson, both 32, are on the run following the incident that took place in the early hours of November 26 at 3333 Old Spanish Trail.
According to the City of Houston's news release, the two suspects stand charged with aggravated assault with serious bodily injury, the charges took place in the 351st State District Court. The victim, a 26-year-old male, was reportedly shot multiple times and was transported to an area hospital in stable condition.
The Houston Police Department's Major Assaults & Family Violence Division Detectives A. Garcia and V. Gamez were called to the scene after a change in the report to an assist call for a Harris County Sheriff’s Deputy. The deputy was working an off-duty job at the location where the shooting occurred, initially, two individuals were detained but subsequently released following a preliminary investigation.
It wasn't until further investigation that Kuykendall and Anderson were pinpointed and charged on December 5. Despite the charges, they remained at large, eluding capture. The authorities have released photos of the two men and are urging the public to come forward with any information that might lead to their arrest.
