Firefighters in Westlake Village rescued a stuck Frenchie from a tight spot on Christmas Day. The distressed dog found itself trapped between the unyielding bars of a metal fence, a predicament that would soon turn its leisurely walk into a full-blown rescue mission.
According to KTLA, the crew from Station 44 of the Los Angeles County Fire Department heeded the call, arriving on the scene with power tools to pry the bars apart, and within moments the Frenchie was free to scamper once more. The incident, captured on video, showcases the firefighters in action, diligently working to widen the gap just enough for the four-legged friend to make an unharmed escape.
The Los Angeles County Fire Department took to X for a light-hearted debrief, sharing an image of the safe and sound Frenchie alongside its rescuers, which included CA Pfeiffer, FFS Boyce, FF Brenner, and FF Lossi. "No injuries to the Frenchie, just a bruised ego," their post read.
