A Wylie woman has been handed a 32-year prison sentence for her part in an abhorrent child pornography scheme that involved the sexual exploitation of her 8-year-old daughter. 39-year-old Stacey Lee Jurik was tried and found guilty of continuous sexual abuse of a child, based on evidence turned over to Dallas law enforcement by the FBI, as reported by FOX 4 News.

During the trial, the accusations against Jurik painted a grim picture of betrayal, where she facilitated and was present for the production of illicit content by photographer Grant Durtschi, who had been separately convicted on child pornography charges earlier this year.

As per prosecutors, Jurik maneuvered her daughter into participating in photo shoots that took place between October 2021 and February 2022, which Durtschi utilized to produce and distribute the offensive material. The FBI's larger probe into the photographer, who operated in several states, was what initially uncovered the footage of Jurik's daughter, leading to Jurik's arrest in 2022 on charges of human trafficking involving her daughter, according to Irving Weekly.

Incriminating evidence presented during the trial included footage from a January 2022 photo session showing Durtschi photographing the child in compromising positions, and Jurik was seen making adjustments to the child's outfit in a way that was deemed wholly inappropriate. This activity was part of the prosecutor's case, which led to her conviction, as reported by the Irving Weekly.

Durtschi's guilty plea to production and attempted production of child pornography came on March 7, 2023, acknowledging his part in the exploitation ring that reached across various locations, including Louisiana and Plano.
