Five individuals in Fayette County found themselves behind bars following an extensive month-long probe into drug dealing activities within the town of La Grange, per details unveiled by the local sheriff's department. This investigative operation, spearheaded by the county's Undercover Narcotics Unit, culminated in the raid of two specific residences where officers confiscated over 200 grams of methamphetamine alongside a firearm.
The sheriff's office listed the arrests, which included John Barakat, 40, charged with possession of a controlled substance and unlawful possession of a firearm by a felon; Lenise Salazar, 42, accused of possessing a controlled substance; Fred Lotz, 67, charged with the manufacture and delivery of a controlled substance, while Andrew Rivera Jr., 39, faces possession charges and Sheri Miller, 48, was apprehended on warrants for manufacture/delivery of a controlled substance and bail jumping, according to CBS Austin.
