An Apple Valley man's behind bars, accused of locking up a local woman, with the law coming down hard on 34-year-old Jesse Arcadio Hernandez after a 41-year-old female victim reported to police that she had been falsely imprisoned following a nasty spat over where they lived.
According to a San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department report, after suffering an assault on January 4 that left her bruised and in pain, the woman took her case to the Apple Valley Police Department the next day and pinned the blame on Hernandez; Deputy K. Mammolito took her statement and wasted no time picking up Hernandez for the false imprisonment charge.
Hernandez didn't linger long in the free world—police nabbed him shortly after the woman came forward, and they shipped him off to High Desert Detention Center where he's stuck sitting on a $30,000 bail.
The Victorville District Attorney's Office didn't drag their feet, they filed felony charges on January 8 against Hernandez for false imprisonment by violence. He’s also staring down the barrel of assault by means of force likely to produce great bodily injury, if you're looking for justice, these charges mean business.
The Apple Valley Sheriff’s Station is hunting for any additional info, with Deputy Mammolito leading the charge. If you have any information, you can submit it anonymously to the We-Tip Hotline at 1-800-78CRIME, or to their website at www.wetip.com.
