The Austin Police Department is turning to the public for help in nabbing a pack of suspects after a bold robbery at a CVS. The heist, which went down at the chain's 2213 Airport Boulevard location, was no ordinary snatch-and-grab. On January 10 just after 9 p.m., four individuals—a woman and three youths—stormed the store and made off with undisclosed merchandise, the department reported.
The crew made their great escape on bicycles, but not before one of the young hoodlums pulled a knife on an employee brave enough to confront them. According to the release from the APD, the suspects include an older female thought to be between 22 and 29 years old, clad in a black designer tracksuit, and three males possibly white or Hispanic in their youth. The department has released images and descriptions of the culprits, hoping that someone in the public eye has seen them.
The primary suspect in this chain of events is a white female in her twenties, who was last seen sporting a black Calvin Klein long-sleeve shirt and matching pants with the brand name emblazoned on the side. She completed her look with a gray belt bag worn across her chest. Suspect #2 is a male with ambiguous ethnicity, possibly white or Hispanic, who was seen in a light-colored hoodie, grey gloves, and brown boots.
Also on the department's radar is another male, sporting a black jacket with contrasting sleeves, a Nike beanie, jean shorts, and black and white sneakers. Unfortunately, no snap was captured of the fourth suspect, but he is believed to also be a white or Hispanic male.
