The Austin Police Department is currently on the hunt for two suspects linked to a brazen shooting incident that left two individuals, including a child, with serious injuries. The shooting occurred on the evening of Monday, January 22, along a busy stretch of W Ben White Boulevard, as confirmed by an official APD report.
According to authorities, the victims were found in a vehicle riddled with bullets after being cut off by a dark grey Volkswagen sedan. The assailants, described as two black males in their early 20s, instigated the violent altercation when one suspect opened fire into the victim's car. One adult occupant took a shot to the chest, while a juvenile was agonizingly struck in the head. Both victims are currently stable after being rushed to a local hospital.
The APD released descriptions of the suspects: one with a thin build, believed to be the driver, and the other, a passenger with dreadlocks, also sporting a thin physique. The suspect vehicle is an older model Volkswagen sedan, dark grey in color, possibly a Jetta, as detailed in an APD statement.

A reward of up to $1,000 is on the table for any detail that contributes to an arrest.
