A young man from Chino Hills is now facing charges beyond allegedly tagging his local high school with graffiti. Raymond Angelo-Soriano-Concepcion, 19, has been slapped with narcotics possession intended for sale, following a police investigation that linked him to a series of vandalistic acts at Ayala High School.

According to a statement by the San Bernardino County Sheriff-Coroner Department, the graffiti probe that began in November 2023 led law enforcement to Soriano-Concepcion. Deputies not only connected him to the graffiti but also suspected him in the narcotics sales, earning the teen a Ramey Warrant for his arrest.

On the morning of January 15, San Bernardino deputies executed a search warrant at a residence in the 14000 block of Reservoir Place. The suspect was detained, and authorities found evidence of illegal narcotics poised for sale, more graffiti paraphernalia, and an unregistered firearm. Soriano-Concepcion was hauled off to West Valley Detention Center to face the music for these offenses.

Officials at Ayala High School have not commented on Soriano-Concepcion's arrest. The narcotics charge adds a significant layer to what might have originally seemed like teenage defiance. The Chino Hills Police Station is handling the ongoing investigation, with Deputy J. Serna cited as the point of contact for any related inquiries. Community members with information can reach the station at 909-364-2000.
