A man was fatally shot on Arbor Park Drive in an incident now under investigation by Dallas police.
The shooting occurred on January 3, around 2:30 p.m. in the 8800 block of Arbor Park Drive, where officers were dispatched to quickly respond to reports of gunfire. Upon arrival, they discovered 29-year-old Richard Pinkney with a gunshot wound, as per the Dallas Police Department.
Dallas Fire-Rescue rushed Pinkney to the hospital, where he ultimately succumbed to his injuries. Details surrounding the circumstances of the shooting remain scant, as detectives are fervently piecing together the moments leading to Pinkney's untimely demise.
