A Dallas Police Department officer has found himself on the wrong side of the law after being cuffed for allegedly driving while intoxicated, the department has revealed.
Senior Corporal James Goetz was arrested by the Pilot Point Police Department on January 12, while off-duty, and has been placed on administrative leave as the department's Internal Affairs Division probes the incident, according to the Dallas Police Department.
Goetz, a seasoned veteran of the department with a tenure beginning in August 2008, is currently assigned to the Investigations Bureau, his career now in limbo as the investigation unfolds.
