Dallas cops are on the hunt for clues in a pre-dawn slaying that left a young man dead on Whitehurst Drive. Authorities were summoned to the scene for a welfare check early January 4, around 5:15 a.m., where they discovered 26-year-old Kishon Ellis-Washington with gunshot wounds, according to the Dallas Police Department.
Despite a fast response from Dallas Fire-Rescue, Ellis-Washington's injuries proved fatal and he was pronounced dead at the crime scene. The case, currently shrouded in mystery, with no suspects in custody, is ongoing and filed under case number 001791-2024.
