The Westlake Police Department disclosed that officers arrived at the scene around 10 p.m. following reports of the accident, but found no trace of the driver, sparking a missing person concern. The vehicle, a nondescript SUV, was confirmed not to be stolen and is registered out of Abilene, as per the police request for public assistance, per the White Settlement Police Department.
