A brazen robbery in Fillmore ended with an arrest, according to the Ventura County Sheriff's Office. Brian Valencia, a 20-year-old Fillmore resident, is facing charges for a crime that occurred just before the clock struck midnight on December 28, 2023.
Valencia allegedly attacked and robbed an adult male victim on Ventura Street. According to the authorities, after knocking the victim to the ground, Valencia made a swift getaway in a charcoal gray minivan with an accomplice. Valencia, who was already in custody for an unrelated offense, faced additional robbery charges pursuant to Penal Code Section 211. He remains behind bars at the Main Jail, pending his court arraignment, and the investigation presses on.
