
Early Tuesday morning, firefighters swiftly extinguished a blaze that erupted in a vacant commercial building in East Austin, as confirmed by the Austin Fire Department. The fire, which authorities say was caused by an electrical malfunction, started around 6:20 a.m. near the junction of East 12th Street and Airport Boulevard, according to CBS Austin.
