Hall County law enforcement officials have issued a public appeal for assistance in the quest to locate Steven Trent Martin, a 53-year-old man from Flowery Branch missing since his release from jail last month. As relayed by the Hall County Sheriff's Office in a Facebook post yesterday. Martin was last seen on December 19, 2023, the day he exited the Hall County Jail and slipped into the open air of uncertainty.
Martin's disappearance was reported on the first of the new year by a friend, a notable 13-day gap from the time he was expected to have reengaged with his routine. He stands 5-feet-9-inches tall and carries a weight of 200 pounds, a man with brown hair, and blue eyes that perhaps grow dim with secrets, according to the press statement obtained by Fox5Atlanta.
Before his untraceable departure Martin found himself entangled with the law on December 18, the result of supplying false identification to an officer—a brief encounter with the judicial system as reported by AccessWDUN. Despite his subsequent release on his own recognizance, the ties to his prior life appear frayed, with no sightings or communication postulating his whereabouts since that mid-December day.
The Hall County Sheriff's Office is urgently seeking the public's help, hoping that eyes and ears on the ground will resurface clues to Martin's movements. For those who posses information, or believe they have seen a man of Martin's description, they are encouraged to reach out to Investigator Bray by phone at 770-533-7813, or via email at [email protected]. In this manner, they may cast light on the shadows that have befallen one of their community's own.
