Former Fulton County chief of staff Calvin Brock has landed a nearly $1 million settlement in a sex discrimination lawsuit against Fulton County. After a salacious trial, exposing sex in government offices and obsessive tracking via hidden devices, Brock alleged that his termination came as a consequence of ending an illicit relationship with his boss, County Commissioner Natalie Hall. According to FOX 5 Atlanta, Brock's legal victory includes back pay with interest, compensatory damages, and attorney's fees.

In a hearing attended by Channel 2 Action News, evidence came to light regarding the extreme lengths Hall purportedly went to keep tabs on Brock, including placing trackers on his vehicle. Robb Pitts, Commission Chairman, addressed the financial burden, stating, "So in the final analysis, it’s the taxpayer who got screwed," in an interview with WSB-TV.

Fulton County commissioners moved to censure Hall last October. District 2 Commissioner Bob Ellis, who led the censure vote, remarked to FOX 5 Atlanta, "Obviously, we do not have the ability to fire one another. That is sort of a different context, in the way of public officials. But we do have the ability to express our public disapproval,"  Despite the board's stance, they cannot dismiss Hall from her elected position; such a judgment is reserved for the electorate come November's re-election.

Brock told WSB-TV, "A lot of people wouldn’t believe that a man would be going through something like this."
