
A chilling hit-and-run on Pacific Coast Highway at Ohio Avenue has claimed the life of an unidentified male pedestrian, Long Beach authorities reported. The incident happened early Thursday morning when a vehicle fatally struck the pedestrian from behind and fled the scene.
Later, a 55-year-old Long Beach resident, Cher Srey, turned herself in to the Signal Hill Police Department. She was arrested, charged with felony hit and run, and has since been cooperating with the officials. Despite the arrest, the identity of the victim remains undisclosed as the next of kin is yet to be notified by the Los Angeles County Department of the Medical Examiner.
