A public statement released by the Sheriff's Information Bureau, expressed gratitude for the community's efforts, saying, "Thank you to the public, the media, Aero Bureau, and deputy personnel for their tireless efforts in the search for Mrs. Battieste." The outpouring of support and information sharing was crucial to safely locate the young woman, who had last been seen on January 4, 2024.
Olivia was described as an African American, 5 feet 8 inches tall, weighing 250 lbs., with black hair and brown eyes. Her last known attire included a black shirt and black sweats.
