A Morrison County officer who took a devastating hit last summer is back on the beat. Deputy Brady Pundsack, who suffered from injuries described as life-threatening, made his comeback to the force recently, along with his trusted K-9 Diesel, the Morrison County Sheriff's Office said on social media. "Our agency has a lot to be thankful for, including the return of Deputy Brady Pundsack. Today was his first official day back, with no restrictions," according to Morrison County Sheriff Office.
In an unfortunate incident back on July 15, while directing traffic at Pierz Freedom Fest, Pundsack was struck by a vehicle driven by a 17-year-old. The sheriff's department, pulling through what could only be imagined as a collective holding of breath, welcomed their colleague's return. "Folks, this is what dedication and perseverance look like," they added, heralding the officer's resolve in the face of adversity. On Friday, Deputy Pundsack's momentous return was showcased on Facebook, as reported by CBS News Minnesota.
