New Braunfels police are on the lookout for three men who made off with a hefty haul from a local H-E-B Plus, and they're offering a significant cash incentive for information leading to their apprehension. Security cameras captured footage of the trio at around 3 p.m. on Dec. 2, as they loaded a cart with $900 worth of merchandise before slipping away unnoticed, Express-News reported.
The suspects managed to fill their loot into a red and tan Ford Expedition, swiping goods undeterred by the bustle of a weekend afternoon crowd. In an effort to crack the case, authorities have turned to the public for assistance in nailing down the identities of these brazen thieves. Comal County had stepped in, offering up a $4,000 reward for tips that bring these men to justice, a move that sharply ups the ante in the quest for their capture.
Details are slim, but with the savory lure of cash for clues, New Braunfels Police hope that someone will come forward with pivotal information. The New Braunfels Police Department urges anyone with knowledge of the theft or the suspects to reach out to Comal County Crime Stoppers by calling 830-620-8477.
