The adjacent building suffered only minor damage, and it was fortunate that no casualties emerged from the incident. The prompt response can be accredited to the swift and organized manner in which the Oakland Fire crew addressed the emergency. The fire's cause, however, remains under investigation as authorities are meticulously sifting through the ashes to uncover what may have sparked the devastating event.
Information surrounding the fire and the subsequent operations is still forthcoming, and the Oakland Fire Department is expected to provide further details once they have thoroughly scrutinized the location.
