
A dispute gone awry left one person injured from a gunshot near Dallas Love Field Airport on Friday morning. Police rushed to the 6800 block of Ansley Avenue after reports of a shooting at about 9:15 a.m. A victim, wounded in the altercation, was quickly transported to a local hospital. The condition of the individual has remained undisclosed by officials.
The accused shooter was swiftly taken into custody, though their identity has yet to be revealed. The shooting occurred on airport property, specifically near rental car services and adjacent to two remote parking facilities. Despite the violent exchange, Love Field officials assured that airport operations continued unaffected.
A law enforcement source, who spoke on condition of anonymity, indicated to WFAA-TV, a Star-Telegram media partner, that the incident stemmed from a confrontation between two women. The particulars behind their quarrel remain a mystery as police continue to meticulously investigate the scene.
