
Petaluma Police Department took 27-year-old Kevin Donohoe into custody after discovering a stash of narcotics in his vehicle during an early morning check on Rovina Lane.
After officers were dispatched to investigate the suspicious vehicle, they contacted Donohoe, who was found asleep at the wheel. A search undertaken by the officers unearthed numerous packages of fentanyl, weighing a collective 24.4 grams, and readied for sale, in addition to a small quantity of suspected methamphetamine. Petaluma Police reported the incident occurred on January 11, around 4:35 a.m.
The discovery led to multiple charges against the Petaluma resident, including possession of a controlled substance (fentanyl) for sale, possession of methamphetamine, and drug paraphernalia. Following the arrest, Donohoe was processed and booked at the Sonoma County Jail.
