
Early Sunday morning, San Antonio firefighters faced a challenge at Dos Hermanos Mexican Restaurant when they were delayed by security bars while attempting to put out a blaze, according to a report by FOX San Antonio. The fire, which caused moderate to heavy damage, erupted on South Zarzamora Street where firefighters arrived around 2:31 a.m. to find smoke and flames billowing from the establishment they encountered the unexpected obstacle of burglar bars they managed to saw through the bars and extinguish the fire swiftly.
No injuries were reported as there were no individuals inside the restaurant at the time of the incident, the cause of the fire is currently under investigation. In a similar report by KENS 5, it was noted that the location of the restaurant is near the St. Alphonsus Catholic Church, adding a local landmark to the site of the early morning emergency.
