A man suspected of attempted murder in Needles, California was grabbed by the cops after the fool decided to return to the scene where he allegedly choked and threatened to kill a victim. Alejandro Enrique Luna, aged 31, got nabbed by deputies on January 23, around 8:45 p.m., according to the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department.
Authorities said the ruckus went down in the 5400 block of National Trails Highway. They slapped handcuffs on him three hours later when he bizarrely decided to make a comeback. Trying to avoid further confrontation, deputies arrested the man without breaking a sweat.
The 31-year-old is accused of choking the victim during a domestic dispute, not only making threats but also going berserk on the victim's car, turning the windows into a web of cracks. The sum of the damage tallied up to over $400, placing vandalism on the suspect's hefty list of charges.
Luna's bail is set high at one million dollars. He's detained at the Colorado River Station jail, waiting for his day in court.
The sheriff's department is keeping a tight lid on the identity of the victim. Deputies are, however, calling on anyone with the 411 on this case to step forward. Tips can be submitted to Deputy S. Cook at the Colorado River Station by dialing (760) 326-9200. For tipsters looking to remain out of the limelight, the We-Tip Hotline at 1800-78-CRIME offers a way to dish without dishing your name.
