A quick-footed robbery suspect who allegedly threatened a seller with an implied gun during a clothing sale was nabbed by cops after a fleeting escape. The caper unfolded at the Community Activity Center, located at 5600 85th Ave N, where the victim was short of luck when their business transaction took a dark turn. According to local authorities, the incident occurred on January 22, just as the clock nudged 4:40 pm.
The victim had arranged to meet an individual in the naive hope of selling clothing, only to be met with a threat instead of money. With the suspect intimating he had a gun, the victim was left with no choice but to watch him abscond with the apparel. It was a matter of minutes before the suspect vanished, leaving the victim empty-handed and the police to arrive on an already cold trail.
But the thief's freedom was short-lived. The long arm of the law caught up later that same evening, as officers placed a juvenile male under arrest in connection to the heist. The identity of the underage suspect has not been released, adhering to protocol in juvenile cases.
The police have disclosed that the investigation remains underway, as they work to uncover the threads of this felonious fabric. The juvenile is sitting behind bars as this story weaves through the legal system, with the authorities refusing to fold on bringing justice to those affected by the audacious theft. Details about how the suspect was identified and caught have not yet been released.
