
Three juveniles were nabbed by the Transit Police for allegedly assaulting a man on an MBTA bus in Dedham, authorities reported Wednesday. The suspects, whose identities are withheld due to their age, are accused of attacking an adult male with a knife on the evening of January 10, around 8 PM near the intersection of Washington and School streets.

According to a statement from the MBTA Transit Police, the same trio were also wanted in connection with an earlier assault and attempted robbery that occurred on January 6 at Back Bay. The three young males were apprehended, and subsequently transported to TPD Headquarters following their latest offense.
The incident has raised concerns about safety on the MBTA transportation system, which serves as a lifeline for commuters in the Boston area. Transit Police have not released the condition of the victim following the knife attack on the bus, but the swiftness of the police action underscores their commitment to maintaining law and order on the transit network.
