Two Perris men have clapped in irons in a string of armed heists terrorizing Riverside residents, law enforcement officials announced. Edgar Menchaca Martinez, 31, and Arturo Romero, 28, were nabbed by deputies following a spate of gunpoint robberies that had locals on edge.
The duo's crime wave was halted by the Lake Mathews Sheriff's Station Special Enforcement Team (LMSET), who linked a suspicious vehicle to the dastardly deeds.
