Early Wednesday, a vehicle rescue operation unfolded in eastern Travis County following a harrowing rollover crash, leading to two individuals being extracted from the wreckage by emergency responders.
The incident occurred near North State Highway 130 and FM 969 where Austin-Travis County EMS along with Austin Fire and ESD11 teams hastily converged at the scene around 9:40 a.m. as confirmed by ATCEMS's social media post, ATCEMS medics reported there were two patients entrapped causing traffic to back up and with officials urging motorists to avoid the area as they carried out the rescue efforts.

Upon being safely extricated, the two individuals were immediately assessed by medical personnel and neither was expected to suffer life-threatening injuries, KXAN reported.
The patients were subsequently transported to Dell Seton Medical Center, one of them declared a trauma alert, but remarkably, both casualties’ prognoses appeared reassuring with injury severity not anticipated to be life-threatening. Following the incident, ATCEMS has since cleared the scene according to their final update on the matter. No further updates have been given regarding the cause of the accident or the current conditions of the individuals involved.
