Justice may be on the horizon for the victim of a cold-hearted robbery in Colony Place. In a recent turn of events, an exhaustive probe spearheaded by Detective Brian Pierce of the Plymouth Police Department has pinpointed two suspects. The crime in question unfolded back on August 23, 2023, when three men targeted an autistic Walmart employee waiting for a ride, forcibly relieving him of $150.
According to a statement released by the Plymouth Police Department, Julius Houston Jr., 22, and Antonio Taylor, 20, are the duo identified as the alleged perpetrators. Both hailing from Memphis, Tennessee, the authorities have slapped the pair with Extraditable Arrest Warrants under charges of Larceny From the Person, and Larceny Under $250 from a disabled person.
While the third accomplice in the shameful August incident remains unnamed and at large, the police lauded Detective Pierce for his diligent work. The Police's Facebook page highlighted, "We would like to commend Detective Pierce on an excellent investigation." The spotlight now turns to the apprehension of Houston and Taylor to ensure that they face the consequences of their accused criminal acts.
Although the police have not revealed the methods employed in tracking down the suspects, the breakthrough underscores a relentless pursuit of justice for the vulnerable. Those with information regarding the case or the whereabouts of the suspects are urged to contact local authorities. The community has been left shaken by the brazen theft, but with the suspects now identified, hope for resolution persists.
