
A peaceful Sunday afternoon near Hulen Mall in Fort Worth, Texas, was disrupted when gunfire erupted just outside the popular shopping center, leaving an innocent bystander hospitalized with a graze wound to the head. The mayhem, which unfolded shortly before 2 p.m., involved at least three assailants exchanging shots after leaving the mall, as per the reporting from FOX 4 News.
Fort Worth police were quick to respond to the chaotic scene at 4720 South Hulen Street, though specifics on the individuals involved remain scarce, the victim, an unintended target caught in the fray, was swiftly attended to and is believed to have suffered only minor injuries, the victim's current condition has yet to be disclosed as of this reporting. Fort Worth police continue to doggedly pursue leads on the suspects, who vanished into the crowded environs post-commotion, as per WFAA.
The encounter which suddenly placed everyday mall-goers in the direct line of danger has since become the subject of an escalating investigation though no suspect information has been released, law enforcement is actively engaging the public for any pertinent information that may aid in apprehending those responsible for the shooting.
