Tobin, 33, of Newport, encountered her untimely death while walking on N. Monroe Street, according to FOX 2 Detroit. Authorities report that Tobin, dressed in dark clothing, was walking in the right lane around 2:22 a.m. when she was first hit by a 2019 Freightliner tractor-trailer and subsequently by a 2003 Ford Mustang.
