
A Worcester man was taken into cuffs after cops found what they suspect to be crack cocaine and an array of ammunition in a Bowdoin St apartment. Felix Maldonado, the central figure in the Worcester Police Vice Squad's search warrant operation on January 17th, found himself behind bars. According to a press release from the Worcester PD, the officers stormed the residence at approximately 6:40 PM.
Maldonado was promptly detained, which led to the discovery of substances believed to be class B controlled narcotics, along with bullets, parts of a gun, and material typically used for packaging drugs. Officials disclosed that Mr. Maldonado did not possess a Firearm Identification (FID) card or a License to Carry, implicating him further. He's now facing a serious rap for Possession of a Class B Substance with Intent to Distribute and Possession of Ammunition without an FID Card.
The Worcester Police Vice Squad, known for their crackdowns on illicit activities, stressed the significance of these arrests in curbing local drug circulation and potential violence steaming from unlicensed firearm components. The arrests serve as another cog in the wheel of an ongoing battle against narcotics and associated crimes plaguing the area. According to the press release, the individuals were booked and are anticipated to face the tunes in court.
