Minnesota drivers, it's time to give your vehicle a makeover with a touch of team spirit or sleek design. The Wright County License Center is rolling out a new collection of specialty license plates for local fans and advocates. As the center announced, Minnesota Vikings followers and those who prefer the minimalist 'Black Out' design can visit the motor vehicle office to snag their new plates.
If you're looking to quickly personalize your ride while also doing some good, these plates are your go-to. The 'Black Out' plate will funnel an annual contribution to the Minnesota Department of Driver & Vehicle Services, ensuring that your sleek aesthetic choice helps to smoothly keep state services running. On the other hand, Vikings enthusiasts can showcase their pride knowing their plate’s contribution will directly support the Vikings Charitable Foundation. According to the Wright County License Center's statement, both options are already up for grabs.
But the choices don't stop there – additional designs include the Lions Club International, Missing & Murdered Indigenous Relatives, and the Minnesota Twins plates. Although these aren't immediately available to take home, interested customers can place orders, and they’ll be mailed out as soon as they're ready. Die-hards wanting to personalize can do so for a fee, and those who have already personalized plates can to easily transfer their existing tags to a new design, within the character limit, of course.
Whether you pledge loyalty to your favorite sports team, support a cause, or just want to stylishly stand out, these plates offer Minnesotans the chance to drive with a purpose.
