A 19-year-old man has become the latest victim of gun violence in Los Angeles, after being fatally shot on a North Hollywood sidewalk. The Los Angeles Police Department identified the man as Jorge Ramos of North Hollywood, and he was discovered dead on Tuesday, according to the LAPD Newsroom.
The grim discovery was made at around 1:28 p.m. at the intersection of Vanowen Street and Ethel Avenue. Patrol officers responded to reports of gunfire, and upon arrival, they found Ramos with a gunshot wound. Despite Los Angeles Fire Department paramedics' swift response, Ramos was pronounced dead at the scene, as reported by KTLA.

Witnesses reported seeing two individuals fleeing the scene following the shooting, but no further details, or description of the suspects were provided.
