The Arlington Police Department is reaching out to the community to identify a suspect involved in a car theft incident. The attempted theft occurred on January 23, when a male suspect was spotted trying to steal a Kia K5 from the Liv+ Arlington apartment complex's parking garage, according to the Arlington Police Department.
According to authorities, the would-be thief left the vehicle with a shattered driver-side rear window and a steering column reduced to a tangle of wires. Surveillance cameras captured images of the individual, and Arlington Police have taken to social media with a "Who's That Wednesday?" campaign, urging the public to assist in the identification of the suspect.
Anyone with information that could lead to identifying the young male in the photos is encouraged to call Detective Armendariz at (817) 459-5590. For those wishing to remain anonymous, tips can also be submitted by calling Crime Stoppers of Tarrant County at (817) 469-8477.
