
A man identified by police as "armed and dangerous" is on the run following a fatal shooting outside a Lithonia Zaxby’s. The DeKalb County Police Department released images of the suspect involved in the deadly encounter that took place on February 6 in the evening hours.
According to FOX 5 Atlanta, officers discovered Kenyon Jones with two gunshot wounds to his back around 9 p.m. He was transported to a hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries. Police say the suspect engaged in a confrontation with Jones inside the restaurant and, following him outside, shot him multiple times.
The suspect, whom police have yet to identify publically, immediately fled the scene after the shooting. Investigators are now calling on the public to assist in locating the individual responsible for the murder of Jones.
"The man then physically assaulted Jones before running away," as reported by WJCL, detailing how the victim was shot after a verbal dispute inside the establishment escalated drastically. The police are emphasizing the urgency of the situation, cautioning that if the suspect is seen, the public should not approach but instead immediately contact the DeKalb County Police.

Tipsters may remain anonymous and could be eligible for a reward of up to $2,000 if their information leads to an arrest.
