The Clayton County Police are searching for 18-year-old Carmelo Campbell, who has been missing since Valentine's Day, February 14, according to reports by FOX 5 Atlanta and Atlanta News First. Campbell, a young man with a diagnosis of bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, and depression, was last seen in the area of the 9400 block of Cypress Lane in Jonesboro at around 4 p.m.
He is described as 5 feet, 11 inches tall and weighs approximately 150 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. When he vanished, he was wearing a distinct red, gold, and gray flannel shirt, a gray hoodie, black pants, and notably, orange and white Air Force One sneakers. The community, and the police, have been fervently tracking down any leads, but so far, they have come up empty-handed, efforts that are only complicated by Carmelo's mental health needs.
Members of Carmelo's family have attempted to make contact numerous times since he was reported missing. Yet, they have not received any response, and their concern is growing increasingly acute.
