According to the Hazardous Weather Outlook, "isolated thunderstorms may occur generally east of I-35 through today." The main threat being lightning. As the week progresses, the chance of thunderstorms lingers, particularly east of I-35 from Monday through Wednesday, while daytime highs remain comfortably in the high 70s to low 80s.

The outlook, which is for North and Central Texas, states that there is "a chance for thunderstorms Monday through Wednesday" and that the potential for severe weather during this period continues to be closely monitored. Spotter activation, as of now, is not expected. Temperatures at night throughout the week are anticipated to stay in the mid to lower 50s, providing some respite from the day's warmth.
