A spokesperson from the DeKalb County Police Department stated that, as of now, these cases do not seem to be connected. "There is 'nothing sinister going on,'" and the posting on social media of all missing persons or runaways under the age of 13 is part of the department's "internal policy," the spokesperson informed Atlanta News First.
