As CBS News Detroit reports, the most recent occurrence happened on February 5, around 9 a.m., when the suspect tried to enter an unoccupied home on the 18400 block of Greenfield.
Authorities suspect the same individual made similar attempts at the same address previously, on the mornings of December 24, 2023, and January 25, 2024 the individual described as a tall, slim male, likely aged 25-30, was spotted in surveillance footage wearing a black hooded sweatshirt paired with blue jeans as per details released by the Detroit Police Department and shared by the City of Detroit, Michigan.
An incentive for potential tipsters is in place, with a reward of $500 being offered for information leading to the arrest of the suspect case number 2402050155 must be cited by those coming forward with tips. This detail, intended to encourage community members to participate actively in the apprehension of the suspect, was also disseminated through Detroit’s rewards platform.
