Detroit law enforcement is on the lookout for two suspects tied to a violent incident that ended with gunshots and a stabbing outside a local watering hole earlier this month. According to CBS DETROIT, the chaos unfolded in the early hours of Jan. 14, around 1:30 a.m., after an altercation brewed within the premises, spilling blood on the streets of their 20500 block of Grand River.
A heated exchange inside the bar sent tempers flaring, and, as tempers flared it led to a shooting and a separate stabbing incident right outside, where one suspect opened fire, hitting an 18-year-old woman and a 25-year-old man another suspect plunged a blade into a 29-year-old male victim, the ClickOnDetroit report details. The victims were rushed to a local hospital and fortunately survived the violent altercation, later being released after receiving treatment.
Detroit Police are now reaching out to the public for any leads that could help net the culprits behind the bloodshed. In addition to traditional investigative tactics, they are leveraging technology, following the incident releasing surveillance photos of two men believed to be connected to the crimes, obtained by WWJ Newsroom.
