Two children claimed by separate traffic tragedies, turning to GoFundMe.

In a devastating holiday weekend incident, 12-year-old Camila Rangel perished in a single-car crash on State Highway 99, according to Harris County Sheriff Ed Gonzalez's post on X. A GoFundMe campaign aims to gather $5,000 for funeral costs. "With much sadness in our souls we ask for your kind contribution to help with the funeral costs of our doll Camila Rangel Alfaro, who earlier today, after a traffic accident, lost her life," the GoFundMe page read in translated text.

Camila, who was traveling with five other individuals, including her aunt as the driver, was thrown from the vehicle when it veered off the road and collided with a cable barrier. While the youngster was discovered without signs of life at the scene, her aunt exhibited no signs of intoxication, and no other fatalities were reported in the crash.

Meanwhile, in Bel Air, Maryland the family of 7-year-old Tripp Johnson, who died in a separate crash, is also seeking the public's assistance via GoFundMe. The campaign created to cover the boy's funeral expenses, and his mother Megan Fulleylove's medical bills has already seen over $30,000 in donations. "Megan and Travis Johnson have always been amazing parents, and Tripp has been their whole world and their hearts will never be completely healed. It's going to take the love and support of a village composed of friends and family to help them live through their loss," Jennifer Block, who started the fundraiser, shared on behalf of grieving parents, Megan and Travis Johnson.

For those moved to contribute to the funeral costs and medical bills of the affected families, the GoFundMe campaigns remain open for donations.
