
Authorities are asking for public assistance in the hunt for three suspects tied to a recent robbery at a popular discount retail store in the Houston area. The Constable's Office of Harris County Precinct 4 is seeking information regarding three individuals who allegedly shoplifted from a Five Below store and assaulted an employee on their way out.
The incident, which unfolded on February 24 at the location on 28000 Northwest Freeway, saw the trio of black female suspects make off with goods before a confrontation with a staff member trying to halt their exit, an altercation that led to the employee being struck by two of the suspects, Constable Mark Herman's Office confirmed the details of the robbery and the assault after they arrived at the scene and reviewed the surveillance footage which showed all suspects in denim and with black hair, these were pointed out by the store's complainant.
In a recent update via a post on social media from Herman's office, they reiterated their call for tips, noting, “If you have any information about the identity of the suspects, please contact our dispatch or your local law enforcement agency.”
While no injuries beyond the aforementioned assault have been reported. Herman's office has not yet disclosed the value of the merchandise stolen or details on how the suspects managed to execute the theft as the investigation pursues the assailants. The Constable's Office encourages anyone with knowledge of the robbery to step forward.
