A man has been snagged by the cops for driving while plastered and packing heat unlawfully, authorities said. The incident, which unraveled in the pre-dawn hours of February 17, has landed Adrien Jeffery in the clink with a sobering set of charges to his name.
The Harris County Constable's Office reported that deputies were dispatched to the 3300 block of N Sam Houston Pkwy West following reports of a single-vehicle mishap. Upon arrival, Jeffery was tagged as the man behind the wheel, and he wasn't exactly passing for sober. Constable Mark Herman's deputies decided to run him through the Standardized Field Sobriety Tests, confirming suspicions that he was under the influence.
"Adrien Jeffery was arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail, charged with Driving While Intoxicated and Unlawfully Carrying a Weapon. His total bond was set at $200 out of County Court 14." the Constable's Office issued in a statement.
