A man staying as a guest at an Airbnb rental in the Humble area is accused of stabbing a woman in the neck while she slept, leaving her hospitalized in intensive care with multiple stab wounds to her neck and body. Harris County Precinct 4 Constable's deputies arrested 20900 block of Noelle Court resident-for-the-night Jah Ridley on Friday morning and charged him with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
According to Constable Mark Herman, deputies responded to a disturbance at a residence in the 20900 block of Noelle Court Friday morning, where they found a male victim who had allegedly been stabbed in the neck by Ridley. Herman's office said the victim was transported to a local hospital for treatment and is expected to survive. Deputies took Ridley into custody at the scene, and Herman said in his statement that “deputies responded quickly and took the suspect into custody,” adding that violent crimes “will not be tolerated in the community.”
The official account from the constable's office did not identify the type of property involved or details about the victim beyond gender. But Facebook page Grizzy's Hood News reported that the address was an Airbnb rental where Ridley was staying as a guest, and that the victim, described as a transgender woman, was asleep when the attack occurred. That outlet reported the property manager called emergency services after hearing the victim cry out during the assault, and that she suffered multiple stab wounds to her neck and body before being rushed to the ICU.

The Noelle Court address sits in the Kenswick Glen residential subdivision, an unincorporated Harris County neighborhood near Humble off Lee Road and FM 1960, close to George Bush Intercontinental Airport, according to HAR.com.
Ridley's charge has been assigned to Harris County's 184th District Court, one of 29 criminal district courts based at the Harris County Criminal Justice Center in downtown Houston, presided over by Judge Katherine N. Thomas, according to the Office of Court Administration. Bond had not been set as of booking. Under Texas Penal Code Section 22.02, aggravated assault with a deadly weapon is a second-degree felony punishable by 2 to 20 years in prison and fines of up to $10,000, per legal group McCarty-Larson, PLLC. Texas law defines a deadly weapon as any instrument used in a way capable of causing death or serious bodily injury.
A Busy Stretch for North Harris County Deputies
The Noelle Court arrest was one of several violent crime calls Precinct 4 deputies fielded in recent days. On the same day, deputies separately responded to another stabbing involving two juveniles in the 200 block of Leaflet Lane in Spring, where emergency crews treated a minor at the scene, as Hoodline previously reported.
Two weeks earlier, deputies investigated a stabbing near Humble Westfield Road and East Hardy Road that left both the victim and suspect hospitalized. Earlier in the month, deputies also disarmed and arrested a man on Cypresswood Drive accused of chasing a victim with a machete while out on bond, booking him on a $200,000 bond. Precinct 4, led by Constable Mark Herman, serves more than 1.1 million residents across 520 square miles of North Harris County, making it the largest constable's agency in the country by population and personnel.
Individuals arrested on felony charges within Precinct 4's jurisdiction are typically processed through the Harris County Joint Processing Center in downtown Houston, the county's centralized intake facility for local law enforcement agencies, which handles booking and bond determinations. It remains unclear what prompted the alleged attack on Noelle Court, and whether investigators are examining any bias-motivated element given the victim's identity as reported by Grizzy's Hood News.
