A man and woman are behind bars after a traffic stop turned drug bust in North Houston yesterday. Constable Mark Herman's deputies, during a routine patrol, discovered the duo had more than just a lead foot.
According to a Facebook post by the constable's office, the pair were hauling a significant haul of narcotics, including Methamphetamine, Crack Cocaine, and Ecstasy. The bust didn't just put a dent in the local drug trade; deputies also seized two loaded firearms from the couple's vehicle.
The interception occurred in the 200 block of the N Sam Houston Tollway, where law enforcement's vigilance is often the barrier between order and the chaos of the illicit drug market.
