A 13-year-old led police on a wild chase before his capture. The youthful offender, whose identity remains shielded by his minor status, reportedly took Constable deputies on a pursuit after refusing to halt his stolen ride. According to a post on Facebook by Constable Mark Herman's Office, the incident occurred on February 8, when a deputy attempted to pull over the vehicle on Seagler Pond Lane. The situation quickly turned into a high-speed chase.
Authorities said they were able to stop the vehicle and apprehend the youth, only days after he was nailed for boosting another car. This latest stunt landed the repeat offender in the Harris County Juvenile Detention Center, charged with Evading Arrest in a Motor Vehicle and Theft of a Vehicle.
“The juvenile was arrested and booked into the Harris County Juvenile Detention Center, charged with Evading Arrest in a Motor Vehicle and Theft of a Vehicle.” Constable Mark Herman affirmed.
