In the 17900 block of Vista Point Drive, within the borders of Spring Valley Lake, authorities discovered the bodies of a husband and wife in what appears to be a murder/suicide scenario.
Luis Fernando Urgiles, a 45-year-old man, and his wife Claudia Carmen Urgiles, 40, were found deceased in their home after Claudia's family reported her missing on February 22, 2024, stating she had not responded to phone calls, a concern that was distressing her relatives. When deputies arrived at the residence two days later, what they encountered painted a grim picture of the events that had taken place. Both Luis and Claudia were found with fatal gunshot wounds, according to a statement released by the San Bernardino County Sheriff-Coroner Department.
