A chaotic scene at a Broward gas station culminated in the death of a man shot by police after he rammed his vehicle into the storefront during a domestic dispute and led officers on a harrowing chase, authorities said. The incident, which spiraled into violence early Friday morning, was confirmed in a press release from the Plantation Police Department.

The turmoil began near 5 a.m. when the police responded to a Mobil gas station at 10261 W. Broward Boulevard after receiving a domestic disturbance call, according to Local 10 News. Roshod Graham, a 32-year-old man from Jacksonville, drove his car into the gas station's doors multiple times in a bid to reach his girlfriend, the 31-year-old victim seeking refuge within, surveillance footage revealed Graham’s relentless assault on the gas station before he stormed inside, after which officers arrived at the scene, leading him to initiate a chase that resulted in his ramming a police car, then crashing into a median in Lauderhill.

Determined police officers pursued Graham on foot, a struggle ensued during which he reportedly tried to wrestle a firearm away from an officer, a move that led to the officer discharging their weapon and shooting him, as outlined in a release provided by NBC Miami.
